Saturday Class Info

Will meet Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; Nov. 6, 13, 20; Dec. 4, 11, additional class on Wednesday Dec. 15th
All classes will culminate in an end of semester showcase on December 18, presenting what the students have been working on throughout the semester.  Feel free to invite family and friends!

SING! SING! SING!  (Ages 5 and 6)
Meets every Saturday 10:30 - 11:30 AM 

Tuition: $175
Whistle a happy tune into this class that focuses on bringing your favorite songs to life! We will build vocal and movement skills and discover creative ways to turn a song into a story. Come create your very own musical with us!

PAGE TO STAGE: A SEASON OF MAGIK (Ages 7 and 8)  
Meets every Saturday from 10:30 AM - 12 PM

Tuition: $175

Our popular Page to Stage class returns, only this time we'll be taking ideas and plots from the shows being produced this season at The Magik Theatre! From "Petite Rouge" to "Pinkalicious," there's an array of zany characters to choose from. Join the class to learn the secrets of the trade from the actors who play these books every day!

SATURDAY MORNING LIVE! (Ages 9-12)
Meets every Saturday from 10:30 AM – 12 PM
Tuition: $175

This brand new course concentrates on the skills you need to light up a room with laughter. We'll work on the rules of comedy, physical humor, and improvisation, as well as acting fundamentals. If you're a class clown, come hone that funny bone and join our Saturday Morning Live comedy troupe!

TEEN REP (Ages 13-18)

Meets every Saturday from 10:30 AM – 12 PM
Tuition: Free

The Magik Theatre has always emphasized the importance of arts education and as arts funding continues to be cut in schools, it's vital that we do our part to keep theatre in the minds and lives of all students. The troupe will train in all forms of theatre and will produce a play that deals with the issues that are important to them. As in years past, Teen Rep will get the opportunity to perform at various community events, including Luminaria, the San Antonio Night of Arts event that draws over 100,000 people.
