FROM PAGE TO STAGE   Ages 8-10
Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Based on Jeff Kinney's popular books, you'll explore the wacky world of Greg, his family and friends, and best of all, his diary. We'll use theatre games to introduce kids to the art of keeping a diary. We'll then take funny stories from everyone's diary and create a show built on those stories. Build sets, choose costumes, and finally perform your own version of Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Register online today!

ACTORS TOOL BOX    Ages 8+
An actor is a craftsman, just like a carpenter. Each needs their own toolbox to do their work. Through acting exercises, you will begin to fill your tool box with the necessary tools of the actor’s trade: creating character, movement and vocal development. The class will work on monologues and dialogues.  So if you’re serious about acting, this is the class for you. (Students will be divided by age and skill.) Register online today!

LIFE ON MARS             Ages 8-10

THE MAGIK SCHOOL OF ROCK AND ROLL      Ages 10-17

When we introduced this class for the first time last summer, none of us knew how the band would sound.  The day before the show, we got a sneak preview.  It was rock and roll heaven - the band was awesome.  This class, taught by professional musicians, is a crash course in how to form a band using guitars, drums, basses, keyboards, singers, and maybe even horns.  The band will choose their own name, play some classic rock songs, and write original songs to debut at their mini concert at the end of the camp session. Students should have some experience playing a musical instrument or singing. Register online today!

TEEN XTREME: TWILIGHT ZONE    Ages 13+

"There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition." That's how Rod Serling, who created the show, described the Twilight Zone. In this exciting class, students will write a script based on the Twilight Zone, filled with mystery and science fiction. You'll create the story, select the sets, costumes and props. If you like weird (even a little weird), and traveling through time and space, this class is for you. Register online today!

MUSICAL THEATRE MARATHON: "The Wonderful World of Disney"    Ages 8+

This summer we will offer a musical theatre class each session, focusing on excerpts from one musical per session. This class will be based on the fundamentals of musical theatre: singing, dancing, and acting. The class will be divided based on experience and skill level.  All children will perform in a production featuring the selections at the end of each camp session. Accept The Magik Challenge: take all five classes and be an experienced Musical Theatre Marathon Master by summer’s end. Register online today!
