Designed for students in grades 1–12, our week-long camps offer a variety of Theatre-focused camps that cater to different age groups and interests. Each program builds confidence, creativity, and collaboration in a fun, supportive environment.

Technical Theatre Camp (Rising 6th–8th Graders)
Musical Marathon Camp (Rising 6th–12th Graders)
Our curriculum is aligned with Theatre Education TEKS and incorporates social-emotional learning, promoting personal growth and artistic development at every level. Studies show that creativity is essential to a child’s development and the skills gained through arts education are applicable to all careers and lifestyles. Our programming brings out each child’s unique talents and shows them they are capable of great things!

Looking for an unforgettable summer experience? Theatre is Magik Camps at Magik Theatre in San Antonio offer kids the chance to shine on stage! Our fun-filled musical theatre camps combine singing, dancing, and acting—perfect for young performers of all skill levels.
Under the guidance of experienced instructors, campers build confidence, teamwork, and performance skills. The grand finale? A live showcase on the final day where your child takes center stage and wows family and friends with their talent!

Selected scholarship recipients will be contacted by the Education Department on April 1 regarding award amounts. Recipients will be given one week to accept or decline. If declined or if no response is received, Magik will move to the next person on the list.
While the bulk of scholarships will be awarded the first week of April, note that all applications will be kept on file in the event that more funds become available and additional scholarships can be awarded throughout the summer.

Technical Theatre Camp

For rising 6th–8th graders who want to explore the technical side of theatre, Magik Theatre’s Technical Theatre Camp offers a hands-on introduction to the art and craft of production. From lighting and sound to costume design, set building, props, and stage management, students dive deep into what makes the magic happen behind the scenes.
Guided by professional theatre technicians, campers will participate in interactive masterclasses and collaborate on real production projects, gaining valuable experience and practical skills.

Musical Marathon Camp

Looking for a next-level theatre experience for your teen? Magik Theatre’s Musical Theatre Marathon in San Antonio is a summer camp designed for students entering grades 6–12 who are ready to deepen their skills in singing, dancing, and acting.
In this camp, students train with professional theatre artists, learning techniques in music, choreography, and scene work. The program culminates with an exciting live performance, where students showcase their progress in front of family and friends.
